Statista reports that “In the United States, more men than women are shot to death by the police. As of March 28, 2021, the U.S. police shot 200 men and 12 women to death in 2021. In 2020, the police shot 983 men and 38 women to death.” Statista provides several years worth of data, showing that around 90-95% of those shot to death by police are males. Source. To date, there has not been a BLM-style organisation for males, such as a ‘Male Lives Matter’, protesting sexism and the disproportionate killing of male people by US police.
