Bush, WMD lies, CNN, MSM
It is now well known that President George Walker Bush’s justifications for starting the Iraq War, such as the notion that Iraq held weapons of mass destruction, were lies, and CNN notes that the mainstream media “aided and abetted the Bush administration’s march to war on what turned out to be faulty premises”, singling out the New York Times and the Washington Post, without directly mentioning CNN’s role. The Guardian reported that “CNN’s star reporter, Christiane Amanpour, has claimed the 24-hour news network was “intimidated” by the Bush administration in its coverage of the war in Iraq.” Amanpour stated: “All of the entire body politic in my view - whether it’s the administration, the intelligence, the journalists, whoever - did not ask enough questions, for instance, about weapons of mass destruction. I mean, it looks like this was disinformation at the highest levels.” Source.
Okay then.
