Coronavirus deaths inflated
We earlier compared deaths attributed to coronavirus with other causes of death and the far greater number of total deaths. Additionally, there are concerns that the deaths attributed to coronavirus are being inflated. For example, as reported by CBS Denver, a coroner of Grand County in Colorado, “Brenda Bock, says two of their five deaths related to COVID-19 were people who died of gunshot wounds.” Source.
Academics in Australia, as reported via ABC News (Australia), explain that there is confusion “over whether reported death statistics reflect those who’ve died from COVID-19, or those who’ve died with the virus”, that “it’s hard for medical practitioners to determine which of these categories a death falls into”, and “the COVID-19 death toll publicised daily on Australian state and territory government websites and reported to the press does not differentiate between the two”. Source.
Okay then.
