Of all the ‘conspiracy theories’ concerning the COVID-19 vaccines, one of the more horrifying is that the jabs alter the DNA of recipients. The powers that be have long ensured that we all know that this is ridiculous. CNN wants us to reassure skeptical loved ones: “The Covid-19 vaccines do not alter or interact with your DNA.” Source. The AP called this false. Source. Reuters linked the idea to conspiratorial thinking. Source. UNICEF outright called it a “conspiracy theory”. Source. Pfizer calls the notion ‘misinformation’. Source. The American CDC is very clear: “COVID-19 vaccines do not change or interact with your DNA in any way.” Source. So too is the Australian government. Source.
Some more wonderful news to ring in the new year… Are you ready for this? You’re not ready for this. Hold onto your butts. A peer-reviewed study from Italy (Dhuli et al.) searched for “the presence of viral and vaccine spike protein in a cohort of long-COVID patients”. Apart from finding “vaccine spike protein in two patients two months after the vaccination”, the same things the CDC and other experts assured us would only be in the body for only a few days, the researchers state in their supplementary material: “The PCR and Sanger sequencing analysis of genomic DNA from long-COVID patients revealed the presence of a sequence similar to the BNT162b2 [Pfizer-BioNTech] vaccine spike protein sequence, possibly indicating potential integration. Alignment of chromatograms with reference sequences suggested the existence of viral spike protein fragments, aligning with intracellular reverse transcription of the Pfizer BioNTech COVID-19 mRNA vaccine.” Source.
Okay then.
Extra: A fun fact that makes the notion a little more plausible is that the human genome, believe it or not, is “up to 8% [ancient] virus”. Source. Why couldn’t the coronavirus or the COVID vaccines similarly, ‘uh, find a way’?
I wonder if any of our health officials have the same integrity the Florida Surgeon General has: https://content.govdelivery.com/accounts/FLDOH/bulletins/3816863
I think not.
OMG. I am still considering sending the FL Surgeon General’s news release today (and I would include your citation here) to some particularly stupid Harvard biology phD and graduate (couple) who ridiculed me nearly 3 years ago for declining C19 vax. Not only was I directly and personally insulted for not “following the science”, I was treated as tho I had leprosy. My intent was to seek a religious exemption with an employer because of DNA concerns. These pompously stupid self-aggrandizing fools weighed-in, tho it wasn’t their place. I was told that the vaccine stays in the arm muscle and would never get near DNA. As time has passed, I have fought a strong desire to note the goalposts - when the CDC dropped their assertion the vax stayed in the arm, for example. So much research showing vax spike circulation and months-long presence in the body. I so desperately want to now tell these brainwashed degreed that their genome may be permanently altered with E. coli plasmid DNA (or whatever it is) with SV40 simian promoter sequences (or whatever it is) from their shots and boosters. And if it is, it lasts forever, handed down to the next generations. I’d look it up and make sure I wrote it right. I won’t do it, not yet at least...because I don’t want to hear back from them. I hope someday they won’t be able to avoid becoming informed. I want them to permanently f**k off
