Cryptos now have worth?
We earlier reported that Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey recently said that cryptocurrencies “have no intrinsic value”, despite his organisation utilising fiat money, which is described by Wikipedia as having no intrinsic value. Wikipedia adds that fiat money “has value only because a government maintains its value, or because parties engaging in exchange agree on its value”. Source.
As reported by Reuters, the government of El Salvador has this month become the first “in the world to adopt bitcoin as legal tender”. Source.
