Elitist hypocrisy over walls, climate change, and preppers

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is “building a compound with a vast underground bunker on the Hawaiian island of Kauai”, which is “secretive” according to New York magazine, and which “is surrounded by a six-foot wall”. Source. Despite his criticism of Trump’s border wall plans. Source. Despite his concerns about climate change and rising sea levels. Source. And despite the elitists’ general disdain for preppers, linking them to conspiracy theorists and the dreaded “far-right”. Source.

That “billionaire preppers are planning for the apocalypse” has even been reported in mainstream news outlets, like ABC News. Source. You might find this a tad concerning, given these people own and control pretty much everything. Even President Biden is keen on building a “top secret retainaing [sic] wall” for his Delaware home. Source. One report also notes that while regular preppers are concerned with things like “a nuclear winter or an extreme weather disaster”, for the elitists “there’s a much greater fear - us”. Apparently they think we will at some point be “coming after them”. Source. Couldn’t imagine why.

Extra: Why would they think we will be “coming after them”? It’s almost as if they’ve done some very bad things to us, like destroying our health, ripping us off, subverting democracy by interfering in elections, and, *gasp!*, lying to us…
