Mainstream news outlets in the West have long scoffed at concerns that White people are becoming the victims of racism. The Washington Post, for example, associated “White victimhood” with one of the worst groups imaginable (in today’s climate, along with people who notice things, and those making their own medical decisions), the dreaded “right-wing”. Source. The Atlantic called ‘reverse racism’ a “myth”, and associates the notion with another thoroughly distasteful group, “Trump voters”. Source. Even Scientific American gets in on the action, indicating that somehow Whites aren’t victims of racism because a few studies from years back show Blacks are; and that’s apparently how good sciencing is done. We’ve known for years that there are policies discriminating against Whites, and Asians, concerning university entry. Source. Now the AP reports that in New Zealand, “in some parts of Auckland, the country’s largest city at 1.4 million people, clinicians have been using an algorithm to adjust where patients sit on elective surgery waitlists. Clinical need remains the top factor, but the algorithm also takes into account how long patients have been on the waitlist, where they live, their financial circumstances, and their ethnicity. Indigenous Māori and Pacific Island patients are given a higher priority on the list, pushing down white New Zealanders and other ethnicities.” Source.
Okay then.
Extra: No, I’m not White. Oh, and take heart that trusted CNN fawns over anti-racist activist Ibram X. Kendi. Source. The same anti-racist Kendi who teaches that, “The only remedy to racist discrimination is antiracist discrimination. The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination.” Source.
