Unvaxxed Kyrie can attend but not play
Many of our previous entries addressed the necessity, effectiveness, and safety of COVID-19 vaccines, as well as alternatives. Another dimension to consider is whether COVID-19 vaccination laws are designed to protect us, or were implemented for some other reason.
Famously unvaccinated basketball player Kyrie Irving is now allowed to attend his team’s arena, mingling with fans and players, but can still not play for his team there. Teammate Kevin Durant called the situation “ridiculous”, adding: “I don’t get it. It just feels like at this point now, somebody’s trying to make a statement or a point to flex their authority.” Source.
