US limits use of J&J COVID-19 vaccine due to blood clot risk
As we reported earlier, amidst a flurry of scientific evidence throwing doubt on the efficacy and safety of COVID-19 vaccines, organisations such as the CDC (a federal agency in the US) continue to state that “the benefits of COVID-19 vaccination outweigh the known and potential risks”.
Now, as reported by the Washington Post, the FDA (another federal agency in the US) “sharply limits use of Johnson & Johnson shot… saying the risk of a rare and life-threatening blood clot syndrome outweighed the benefits of the vaccine for people who are 18 or older and can get another shot, unless they would otherwise remain unvaccinated”. Okay then.
