USA wants Poland to do its dirty work?

Just a few days ago NBC News reported that “The Biden administration is holding talks with Poland about a possible deal to help provide Soviet-era fighter jets to Ukraine… The deal would involve Poland donating its old Russian-made MiG fighters to Ukraine, and then replacing them with the purchase of U.S.-made F-16 jets.” Source.

Now Reuters reports that “The United States rejected a surprise offer by NATO ally Poland on Tuesday to transfer its Russian-made MiG-29 fighter jets to a U.S. base in Germany as a way to replenish Ukraine’s air force in its defense against invading Russian forces.” Source.
