Looks like the COVID-19 vaccines and/or its products cross the placenta after all. Could it, like COVID-19, be causing brain damage in foetuses? A super quick stroll through the history of this developing story.
Not long ago organisations like the CDC were telling us that the COVID-19 vaccines and its products stay around the injection site, and only for a few days. The CDC encouraged pretty much everyone to get vaccinated, even pregnant women. Source. I’m old enough (still not yet 40…) to remember when we health professionals (former pharmacist here) were supposed to be very careful with pregnant females, particularly when it came to pharmaceutical products. Pregnant females shouldn’t consume alcohol, should stay away from sushi, ought to refrain from taking unnecessary medication, and for heaven’s sake don’t you dare given them a little bit of ham. A highly novel pharmaceutical product that was rushed out the door with only a few months worth of safety data, and none in pregnant women, meh, go for it! Heck, frequent boosters are needed for some reason, so have 7!
The experts and the mainstream media, like CNN, really wanted pregnant women to get vaccinated, even giving us the old, “Here’s why that’s a good thing”, when it comes to antibodies potentially crossing the placenta to ‘protect’ the foetus. Source. At least the CDC admitted that “More data are needed to determine what level of protection these antibodies might provide to the baby.” Source. As a former pharmacist and hospital employee, such attitudes seem incredibly flippant and dangerous. This is not a controlled dose delivered directly to the baby. Is it enough? Is it too much? What is it doing? Never mind, we don’t have time for such silly questions, we’re working at the speed of science now.
They even warned us that COVID-19 can cross the placenta and cause brain damage in the little ones. Source. NBC News informed us that COVID-19 could cause respiratory issues, as well as “preterm birth, stillbirth and neurodevelopmental issues in the first year of a child’s life”. Source. Let’s hope that the COVID-19 vaccines don’t also cause such issues, even though the vaccine products, namely the spike protein, kinda mimic the coronavirus. And let’s hope that the jab is even relevant here as it actually doesn’t stop infection (itself one of the biggest lies told about the vaccines, so far), and could even be negatively effective.
But this is all impossible, right? The jab and its products surely couldn’t cross the placenta, the CDC told us that it all stays around the injection site, right? Right? Whoops. The CDC actually quietly updated their website on this as it turns out the jab and/or its products goes pretty much all over the body (and can persist for many months); including in breastmilk, according to studies by a New York University team.
Well, the NYU team, apparently unaware of the potential impacts to their careers, has been at it again. In a study accepted for publishing this year by major academic publisher Elsevier the researchers (Lin et al.) concluded: “Our findings suggest that the vaccine mRNA is not localized to the injection site and can spread systemically to the placenta and umbilical cord blood. The detection of the spike protein in the placental tissue indicates the bioactivity of the vaccine mRNA reaching the placenta.” Source.
Okay then.
Maybe my earlier ‘silly question’ about how much the baby is receiving is not so silly after all. And maybe we should do some, you know, research to find out if this is harming the babies at all, including causing a bit of brain damage. Maybe it’s like myocarditis, just ‘mild and transient’ (yeah, no), hey? Oh, and don’t forget that experts and fact-checkers specifically told us that this stuff doesn’t cross the placenta, only the antibodies do. Source, source, source, source. Gavi, largely funded by Bill Gates, who is not at all an untrustworthy hypocrite, maintains even now in 2024 “that the vaccine does not cross the placenta and that it cannot be found in umbilical cord blood”. Source. Maybe they’ll quietly scrub their website, CDC-style. Hopefully the big tech companies and their pals in the Biden administration will chastise them for this gross misinformation, rather than censoring people like me for simply sharing scientific evidence from prestigious medical journals.
Okay then.
Update: The study also has the researchers noting that previous attempts “failed to detect mRNA in maternal blood, cord blood, or placental tissue”. This highlights the importance of looking for something if you want to find something, and looking in the correct way/s. Yet more reason to be highly suspicious of claims that the jabs are safe. The old, “we don’t see evidence of such and such”, is not so assuring when they aren’t really looking.
Excellent points and research. God help us
Great read. I think I remember Mandy Cohen extolling the benefits of the clot shot, even for pregnant women.
And we thought Biden was mixed up!
