A Lancet journal published a small paper (Pearson-Stuttard et al.) finding that “Many countries, including the UK, have continued to experience an apparent excess of deaths long after the peaks associated with the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021.
Perhaps the general debate in Parliament on 16th January at 9.30, 'Trends in excess deaths' might veer towards the truth in the data.....then again...how many mps will deign to attend. Excess deaths among their constituents must surely be of concern. What if their potential supporters are being reduced by becoming 'excess deaths'? Still....will that issue be as important as voting for their salary to be increased?
