Washington Post columnist Philip Bump recently appeared on a podcast and was asked about a potentially incriminating text message from President Biden’s son Hunter, about having to pay 50% of the latter’s income “to pop”. While acknowledging that some of Hunter Biden’s activities were “sketchy”, Bump refused to be inquisitive, responding with comments like, “I have no idea what that means.” When asked if anyone has asked Hunter’s daughter what that means, Bump answered, “I don’t know.” He again was evasive when asked if he thought someone should ask Hunter’s daughter, and decided to leave the discussion.
