Because like everywhere else in the world as soon as they admit they aren’t safe they will have lawsuits up the wazoo. They simply can’t afford to be wrong.
Oh don't you worry, the lawsuits are coming. They're already here. I'm involved. And I encourage everyone else to get involved as well. Everyone needs to stop demanding that something be done and do something. We need justice. And that means money for us, and jail time for 'them'.

Not the first time someone has said that, maybe I should. I would prefer to receive something approaching minimum wage from the 'small donations' from those who like what I'm doing here, and totally avoid money from the big corporates I despise and actively oppose, but yes, practicalities always rear their heads.
