Trusting the science when they ban the science
Our latest entry concerned, like so many of our entries, a proper study published in one of the world’s most reputable medical journals that contained data that did not paint the COVID-19 vaccines in the best light. The data indicated, and this adds to earlier evidence we’ve shared, that COVID-19 vaccines’ effectiveness quickly becomes negative (meaning acquiring and even dying from COVID becomes more likely in the vaccinated), natural immunity via prior infection is vastly superior, and vaccination eliminates almost all the benefits of natural immunity. As an academic associated with The University of Sydney, I do have a public Facebook account, and shared this entry, without comment apart from a #SafeAndEffective hashtag. The post was promptly censored by Facebook for being ‘vaccine misinformation’. They effectively censored a scientific article from a leading medical journal, and called it misinformation.
I reached out to Facebook for comment and they have not yet responded. My own thoughts: We are told to trust the science. Though I worked in the Arts for many years, my background is in Science, specifically Medical Science, and I have largely returned to my original focus, so I was impressed by this article and merely shared it online. Apparently Facebook, a for-profit corporation, knows the medical science better than actual scientists and actual medical doctors. How can we trust the science, or discuss and debate the science, when the gatekeepers of information effectively ban the science? This is not about trusting the science; this, like what we encounter often with dogmatic religions and philosophies, is about trusting the narrative. We should be very concerned. If not about the COVID-19 vaccines, then about how we are being manipulated by the powers that be.
Okay then.
