Really, what can go wrong with blocking the sun……. Stupid doesn’t even begin to describe what is happening.

Blocking the sun is antithetical to life indeed. Must be stopped at any cost.

I am suspicious now that much of our weather has been

geo-engineered.

I've concluded we live in what will come to be known as The Stupid Era - assuming our leaders don't manage to destroy civilization, which they seem to be trying quite hard to do.

I'm old enough to remember when the advent of nuclear power was going to make electricity too cheap to meter. Now, the more unreliables that are added to the grid, the more expensive electricty gets. What a topsy turvy world.

It's upside down in the ditch sliding on its top. And, a bridge abutment is just a few feet ahead. Will it slide to a stop, like, real soon?? Sane folk outa hope so. . . "D"

We have lost all semblance of common sense in this world. How any part of “sun blocking” is logical under any circumstances is incomprehensible.

All food chains start with photosynthesis

Photosynthesis depends on sunlight (or artificial light)

Photosynthesis takes CO2 out of the atmosphere

Photosynthesis puts O2 into the atmosphere

6CO₂ + 6H₂O → C₆H₁₂O₆ + 6O₂.

All life on Earth depends on photosynthesis (except deep ocean hot vents)

Ecosystems require an energy input, complex interacting webs, plants, animals, insects, bacteria, fungi, etc

I would prefer ‘scientists’ not to mess about with my food and oxygen supply

You placed the best argument in the green agenda until now. Either green power grid - or darken out the sun - can’t have both.

Thank you for your wonderful article. It was funny sad but funny and so right.

Hi Rafael, humour is such a gift in this ongoing fight and so I thank you for your final sentence of the main piece - just before your usual 'Okay then' - which gave me my first belly laugh of the day. Masterfully done!

Great point. We need energy dense, reliable, controllable, on-shore power generation, as is advocated here: https://www.wildhorsewisdom.xyz/p/horses-like-running?utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web

The effect of a grid entirely based on wind, solar and minimal hydro blacking out should be closely watched in Queensland. Or Hawaii for that matter.
