Science has changed: approvals before evidence
In previous entries we have noted that the mainstream narrative has been to ‘trust the science’, despite the science being ignored, banned, being subject to financial conflicts of interest, hidden, and forged. Our most recent entry concerned a study in a top medical ethics journal effectively indicating that for young adults the benefits of the COVID-19 jabs do not outweigh the risks, and also pointed out that our leaders continue to recommend vaccination and boosters for basically all ages.
The FDA, which as a federal agency is effectively a part of the US government, has just “amended the emergency use authorizations (EUAs) of the updated (bivalent) Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines to include use in children down to 6 months of age”. This might come as a surprise to those who thought that the pandemic was winding down, with ever-more benign variants and rising natural immunity, and with children being at extremely low risk, so one might expect the evidence to be overwhelming. The FDA: “The data to support giving an updated bivalent booster dose for these children are expected in January.” Source.
Okay then.
